The purpose of this part of the TIFTECH training is to provide participants assistance with the implementation of the TIF grant in their districts; dialogue included :
* Technology Planning * Copyright Laws and Fair Use Guidelines for Multimedia
* Professional Development * Local and State Policies for usage of internet and local intranets
* Technology Budgeting * Campus and Technology Plans and Acceptable Use Policies
This training module was a two day inservice and activities included:
* A study of strategic technology planning
* A study of financial issues involved with integrating technology
* A study of the legal issues involved in Copyright Laws and Fairuse Guidelines
* A study of district/campus Acceptable Use Policies
* An overview of resources available for administration of technology in the schools
* Usage of scenarios to problem-solve typical issues associated with the implementation on the TIF Grant
